The VFC PP-19-01 Vityaz GBBR brings one of the most distinctive AK-based platforms to VFC's gas blowback range, combining seriously realistic construction with a compact SMG-style setup.
VFC has gone big on the realism with this one. The Vityaz features a steel receiver, CNC steel bolt carrier, steel fire control components and realistic external markings, giving it the weight, feel and operation you'd expect from VFC's latest generation of GBBRs. The large moving steel bolt also delivers a strong recoil impulse with a simulated cyclic rate of around 800 RPM.
Up top you've got a CNC aluminium Picatinny railed dust cover for mounting optics, while the receiver also features a Warsaw Pact-style side rail for compatible traditional AK optics. The folding stock brings the overall length down from 705mm to 480mm, making the Vityaz a great option for CQB despite its realistic construction.
Internally, VFC has fitted its EZ-HOP adjustment system, allowing the hop to be adjusted without tools. The hop rubber and 235mm inner barrel use the common VSR/GBB specification, which also gives you far more options when it comes to future barrel and hop upgrades.
The included 35-round gas magazine is another highlight. Despite its slim 9mm-style profile, it has approximately 65cc of gas capacity and weighs only around 250g. It also features VFC's no-BB no-fire system with selectable dry-fire functionality, allowing you to continue cycling the GBBR without BBs when required.
If you want something completely different from another M4-style GBBR, the VFC Vityaz gives you a compact platform, loads of steel construction and that proper mechanical feel VFC GBBRs are known for.
