EDGE Custom Aluminium Blowback Housing Ver.2

I fitted the EDGE V2 BBU to my Hi-Capa and I’ve been really impressed with it.

The build quality is excellent and it feels very well machined. Fitment was straightforward and, once installed, the action feels noticeably quicker and more responsive than the standard setup. The lighter weight helps the slide cycle fast and gives the pistol a really crisp feel when shooting.

Gas efficiency also seems good, and so far it has been consistent with no issues feeding or cycling. It also pairs nicely with an upgraded nozzle and is a good option if you’re trying to build a reliable, fast-cycling Hi-Capa rather than just changing parts for the sake of it.

Overall, the EDGE V2 BBU feels like a worthwhile upgrade. Good quality, lightweight, smooth operation and a noticeable improvement over the original unit.

Very pleased with it and I would happily use one again in another Hi-Capa build.

Awesome piece for my hicapa, had to order a stronger return spring though because the piston tolerances are way tighter in the nozzle so bare that in mind. I did try changing the o ring but it loses the ‘upgrade’ part being as tight as the factory piston so the 140% return spring is a must.

Fantastic quality with a night and day air seal, highly recommend the cowcow bbu orings to tailor the seal to your nozzle!
